Symmetry Electronics Donates Toys to Local Children in Need

HAWTHORNE, CA - December 18, 2006 - Symmetry Electronics, an electronic component distributor headquartered in Hawthorne, California turned this year’s holiday party into a charitable event by donating gifts to the Hawthorne Fire Department so that they could be given to local children in need. Nearly everyone in the company contributed by purchasing brand new toys for the donation. “It feels great to host a company event that ultimately gives back to children who are in need,” said Fred Scott, Vice President of Marketing for Symmetry Electronics. Following the party, several members of the Hawthorne Fire Department stopped by to gather the hundreds of toys collected.
