Symmetry Electronics Expands its Coverage of North America with a New Office in CanadaHawthorne, California, November 16, 2006 - Symmetry Electronics, the growing leader in design-oriented electronic component distribution, has recently expanded its physical presence in North America by opening a new office in Montreal, Canada. Since it was started in 1998, Symmetry Electronics has built up a strong customer base in Canada that was serviced through the Boston, Massachusetts branch and through remote communication from its headquarters in Hawthorne, California. Recently, the high demand in the audio/video market has created the need for a physical presence in Canada in order to make contact with new customers as well as expand relationships with existing customers. “Canada is becoming an exciting territory of new customers, innovative designs, and is an important part of Symmetry’s current line card growth,” comments Jill Dimick, Product Management Supervisor. “The addition of the Canadian office, staffed by experienced sales personnel, should only prove to be an asset to Canadian customers and their design and production expectations.” The Canadian branch will be responsible for covering territories in Eastern Canada including Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes as well as Alberta. Symmetry’s Canadian branch is headed up by Paul Frattaroli, who has 17 years of industry experience working as a Field Applications Engineer for Neutronics and Avnet, as well as in hardware development for companies including SR Telecom, Lockheed Martin, Vale Harmon Industries, and Sur-Gard/DSC, among others. Paul Frattaroli has been thoroughly trained on all Symmetry lines and will be available for technical sales, business development, as well as product and technical support on specific lines.
