Symmetry Electronics Signs Deal to Distribute Wi2Wi’s Entire Line of Wireless Products

Hawthorne, California, October 11, 2006 - Symmetry Electronics, the growing leader in design-oriented electronic component distribution, announced today that it has signed an agreement to add Wi2Wi, Inc., a leading provider of wireless module and GPS solutions, to its growing list of suppliers.

Under the terms of the agreement, Symmetry Electronics is authorized to promote and sell Wi2Wi’s complete line of wireless networking products, including their WiFi and Bluetooth modules, GPS Receivers and multi-function products throughout North and South America as well as on its award-winning e-commerce website www.SemiconductorStore.com. “Our partnership with Wi2Wi allows Symmetry and SemiconductorStore to expand its commitment to providing customers with a broad range of wireless solutions,” said Fred Scott, VP of Marketing for Symmetry Electronics.

Based on customers’ burgeoning appetite for connecting mobile devices to multiple wireless networks, Wi2Wi is actively developing product IP - designing hardware and software solutions that can easily be integrated into consumer devices. Wi2Wi provides a complete, cost-effective System in Package (SiP) wireless system solution for PAN, WAN and LAN by combining discreet parts and adding advanced software features. Wi2Wi's new System in Package (SiP) product solutions allow developers to take advantage of complete radio system solutions in much smaller form factors and make costs lower than traditional module designs.
