The main difference between the obsolete and new parts is in the mechanical structure. Part numbers that once ended in a C-S or a C-S followed by a numbers signifies the standard structure with no latch. Similarly, part numbers neding in a C-L signifies the "Level Latch". These have all been replaced now with part numbers that end with a C-SL, signifying the new "Spring Level Latch". All replacement parts have the "Spring Level Latch" structure.
