The GigaSTaR Digital Display Link Evaluation Kit, consisting of two boards
(Tx Transmitter Module & Rx Receiver Module) and a CAT7 link cable, adapts high-resolution DVI-monitors up to SXGA to DVI-output graphics cards (PC) at distances up to 40 m. Basically it works like a DVI-extender with additional return channels which provide PS/2- and RS232-sockets. Users may change various settings and configurations to adapt the interfaces and the operation mode to individual needs. Applications
