Description
The M-Station Starter Kit is NEC’s Electronics’ newest low-cost development tool. It is designed to allow users to quickly evaluate the features of their most popular 8-bit microcontrollers at a minimum cost.
The M-Station Kit contains two main components, each available separately. The main board is the “M-Station”, which allows users to perform specific functions such as source-level debugging and flash programming. The second component is the “CPU Board”, which contains the microcontroller. CPU Boards can be mounted directly onto the M-Station, or can be connected through a 16-pin cable if users decide to integrate the CPU Board on their own target system. In addition, users can easily evaluate multiple NEC Electronics microcontrollers by simply swapping different CPU boards
