Flow Control Management Products from IDT

As a leading provider of innovative products for the communications market, IDT has worked closely with customers to provide integration of advanced memory and logic architectures to create a new category of value-added semiconductor devices. The Multi-queue and QuadMux flow-control devices are the first in a series of products in the IDT portfolio of flow-control management ICs. These devices combine critical functions such as memory blocks and controllers, multi-level queue controllers, multiplexing/de-multiplexing data paths, packet-level access controls and clock-control circuits. The Multi-queue and QuadMux devices meet the special requirements of system architects who not only need to buffer data, but to also solve data-flow-control issues in their communications equipment designs. The flow-control devices replace “home grown” circuits found in equipment currently designed using ICs such as ASICs and FPGAs.

Memory Clock Products from IDT

IDT offers JEDEC compliant Zero-Delay PLL Clock Drivers (Buffer) and Registers to meet the tight timing budget requirement of Dual In-Line Memory Modules (DIMM) and Memory Interface Applications. IDT has products to support Single Data Rate (SDR), Double Data Rate (DDR) and DDR2 memory technology. DDR transfers data on both the rising and falling edge of the clock, therefore enabling the transfer of double the amount of data as compared to SDR. DDR2 is at 1.8V and DDR1 is at 2.5V. Typical applications for DIMMs are workstations, servers, storage and telecommunication products like routers and servers.
