Low Voltage Power MOSFET Features:

  • Low ON-Resistance
  • Ideal for Automotive, PC and Battery Management Applications
  • Broad Range of Packages to suit every mounting requirement
  • Highly Reliable

Low-Dropout Voltage Regulators

NEC's Low-Dropout Voltage Regulators, utilizing CMOS Technology, minimize power consumption for a broad range of supply voltages, making them ideal for applications that use the latest in low-voltage chips.

Low-Dropout Voltage Regulator Features:

  • Output voltages as low as 1.5V
  • Current consumption ranging down to 60 µA
  • Built-in logic that provides an on/off function in some devices – reducing standby current
  • High-precision output voltage (+/-1 percent) set by trimming technology for some devices
  • Dual outputs for some devices – eliminates one regulator and one input capacitor in dual-voltage circuits, thus reducing cost and space

ESD Protection Diodes

NEC Bi-Directional Diodes protect against both positive and negative power surges while they minimize package size. An Interface IC's built-in power surge protection is no match for the Electrostatic Discharge resulting from a person's touch, so NEC offers NSAD and NNCD Series Diodes for additional external power surge protection.

Surge Absorber Device (NSAD) Series Features:

  • Protection for data lines at speeds up to 500 Mbps (USB 2.0, IEEE 1394, 100B interface, etc.)
  • Unique bidirectional protection with breakdown voltages in both positive and negative directions (for signal swings such as –5.3V ~ +8V @25°C). No VCC connection is needed.
  • Reduced cost and space with two or four bidirectional diodes per package. Competitors must use four or eight diodes in larger packages to protect the same number of data lines and connect to VCC.
  • Ensure protection with +/-14 kV specs – far exceeding the 8 kV requirements of IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4

Noise-Clipping Diode (NNCD) Series Features:

  • Protection against internal and external surges-waveform clipper, power supply, surge absorber, etc.
  • Protection for data lines at speeds up to 20 Mbps
  • Both High-ESD Series and Low-Capacitance Series
