When mission-critical applications require specific and complete emulation of a local serial COM port, the lowest latency possible or very high (up to 921K) baud rates, Quatech device servers are the best solution available. Available in 1, 2, 4 and 8 port RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 (MEI) versions. The QSE-100M-SS includes industrial surge suppression. Raw TCP and UDP modes allow direct access from virtually all operating systems, and our exclusive IntelliSock™ TCP socket service allows for on-the-fly customization of the serial port for each data transmission. Quatech Device Servers may be set up as a Client or Server, or use the AutoTCP feature and operate as a Client to one computer while a Server to another (excellent for remote service needs). The Installation Wizard makes it easy to get any serial device up and running on your network in less than ten minutes, and a five-year warranty gives you peace of mind!
