The AMW136 ships with a licensed version of ZentriOS which is the connectivity operating system of choice for resource constrained Internet of Things (IoT) devices. ZentriOS accelerates time-to-market by providing a common software foundation across multiple product lines. The OS provides integrated security, sophisticated network connectivity features, file management, rich peripheral interfaces, and much more. By abstracting the underlying complexity of connectivity, developers can focus on what they do best – build great products.

The module runs an embedded TCP/IP networking stack & webserver with RESTful API/websockets and  SSL/TLS/HTTPS security, and offers RF pads allowing for maximum antenna flexibility.

The AMW136 is an ultra-low power Wi-Fi networking module complete with full regulatory certification. The AMW136 features a faster 100 MHz MCU, and 128 kB RAM allowing for more applications and Wi-Fi services to run concurrently with an onboard PCB antenna.
