Bluegiga Technologies announces its support for Anoto Digital Pen and Paper Solutions with their product Access Point 3201, enabling the networking of multiple Bluetooth Digital Pens with corporate networks. February 13, 2009 – Mobile World Congress, Barcelona Bluegiga Technologies Inc., a leading provider of Bluetooth system platforms to system integrators and original equipment manufacturers, announced today its support for Anoto’s Digital Pen and Paper Solutions. Bluegiga’s Access Point 3201 (AP3201) supports multiple digital pens to be connected into corporate Intranet and back end systems. "With our new AP3201 and support for Anoto’s Digital Pen & Paper solution we offer system integrators an easy to use way to optimize and network Bluetooth equipment directly to corporate networks", comments Tom Nordman, Bluegiga’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "The product is easy to configure, use and manage with Bluegiga Solution Manager, ensuring that digital pen and paper integrators are able to create cost effective systems on time and within the budget." Bluegiga's Access Point 3201 can route multiple Bluetooth digital pen connections via TCP/IP networks to back-end servers for further processing, such as image or text recognition. This enables an extremely cost effective way of collecting hand-written data over networks to digital databases. The AP3201 is targeted for medical, healthcare, education and government systems where digital pen-based solutions offer advantages over traditional hand-written data collection. More information: The system will be demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress at Bluegiga’s booth 1B39 in hall 1.
