Hawthorne CA, Thursday, December 20, 2012 – As part of what has now become a holiday tradition, the staff at Symmetry Electronics adopted a family for the holidays through the Richstone Family Center in Hawthorne. 

“Our team forgoes the usual office gift giving and instead buys gifts for a family who might otherwise not have any presents for the holiday” said company co-founder Joe Caravana.  “This program really brings the spirit of the season home to us at Symmetry”

The Richstone Family Center of Los Angeles County is dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse, strengthening families and preventing violence in families, schools and communities.  Through the initiative, Symmetry Electronics was able to provide a number of gifts for each member of the dedicated family chosen by the organization several weeks ago.  A representative of Richstone was very pleased with the contribution and has made arrangements for the gifts to be delivered to the family just in time to enjoy the holiday season.
