Symmetry Electronics promotes Ken Davison to President
Los Angeles CA - 9/23/13: Symmetry Electronics Corporation, a technical semiconductor distribution leader, today announced that it has promoted Ken Davison to serve as President of Symmetry Electronics, effective immediately. Davison, a 29-year industry veteran, will be responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day operations and performance of Symmetry Electronics globally. Symmetry Electronics is a global authorized distributor of electronic components, specializing in serving the Audio/Video, Wireless, and Embedded markets.
Davison joined Symmetry in 2013 as Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining Symmetry, he held numerous strategic roles at both Avnet Electronics and Memec. Davison joined Avnet in 2005 with the company’s acquisition of Memec, where he served as Vice President of Sales for Memec United. While at Avnet, he served as Vice President Area Director and, most recently, as Vice President of Supplier Business Development.
